GooD EveNinG Ms PiLLai...

Months and months ago, we always talk about Adly, Adly Adly... While yesterday we talk about Izaaz, Izaaz, Izaaz... and now, let me talk about my anak sulong, tak lain tak bukan Muhd Izz Zikry or paling ringkas dipanggil IZ.

Last Friday, we went to meet his teacher, Ms Pillai.  The moment the teacher saw us, she said, "Uuuuuhh at last i got to meet both of you!"  Eh eh, bunyik lain maciamzzzz jer.  Confirm ini anak sudah manyiakkkk buat salah pat school. 

When it was our turn, I could remember i took a deep breathe before i plant my butt on the chair.  Ms Pillai said, overall, he performed well in academic as well as leisure.  He'z jus like his mom, lurvesss to chit chat.  About tis lah, about dat lah... and from there, Ms Pillai could see that he's strong in his communication skills.

His Malay teacher, Mdm Rafeah commented that his Bahasa is very good.  But he's a mischevious boy, likes to disturb his fellow mates (hhhmmm sounds like Abang Le right?) and when its time for reading session, everyone have to sit in front.  His teacher observed that he will always have something in his hand to grab on.  Be it a ruler, eraser or pencil (patut ler tiap2 hari stationery hilang.... skarang baru ibu tahu) and i tink, by doing tis, maybe its his own strategy to build up his confidence level. 

Choppp! Choopp!  Now then i remember!!! Maybe IZ is like tis cos i lurve to watch Maid in Manhattan over and over and over again when it was released in 2002 (IZ was borned in 2001).  There was a part where Christopher Marshall, the handsome US Senator gripped some paper clips in his hand to gain confidence when giving speeches to US nations.... ahhhh ahhh ler, maybe kot? And since IZ cita2 nak jadik Pilot, maybe jodoh dia Maid kat Manhattan kot? LOL.........................

As a parent, we never put pressure to all my kids.  To me, kids are kids.  No matter how you pushed them, they will still lose concentration during revisions.  One thing i always remind IZ, don be afraid to make mistake becos by doing mistake, you learned from it. 

Now i understand why parents turned into kanchiong spider when comes to exam week.  Same goes to us.  Not becos i'm worry if my son could not score high BUT i'm worry becos, he tak rasa anything... exam or no exam, still like normal ~ surf net, play PSP, sing and sing and sing.  Adoiiii... can vomit blood kan?

And today, our worries ended.... we got his Report Book. 

He did well, more than i expected!  I always tell IZ, i want him to get good grades not becos i want him to but i jus want him to do his very best so that he can be a responsible person.  Responsible for his own doings. 

Anyway, IZ got:
* Band 1 for Malay (scored 90/100)
* Band 2 for English (83/100)
* Band 2 for Mathematics (73/100)

Ok tak? Sebab i swear i dunno how a Primary One should score.  When my sis said about Band, i tot it was Ben.  Ben 1, Ben 2, BEN TEN!!!! Hahhahahaha Ok ler tu.... janji ko tak fail, boi!

I was so happy when i saw his Maths result cos 2 weeks before the actual exam, they did a mock up and he scored only 64 ~ i tink?  And his teacher jot it as POOR.  I told him, "Boy, is POOR good to you? In real situation, can you do your best to make it above 70? Jus make it 71 ke, 72 ke... so long its above 70" and he proved to me that he can do it :)

"Muhd Izz Zikry is a pleasant student who is very ready to share what has been experienced among his family and friends.  He is very interested in music (oh gossshh.... follow who?).  He needs to learn how to manage his time well to hand in the homework on time."

Sumer positive tapi skelepukkkkkk!!! Last sentence terus kena xia! Sebab apa, homework tiap2 hari buat tapi besok ari nyer, tak pass up..... reason yang dia kasik, "Teacher never ask to pass up"

Deeeerrrhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! Tak ke bingit telinger mendengar.... tak sedap langsung irama nyer, kan?
