My result came back!! But the nurse said that i have white blood cell count in my urine. Aiyahhhh! So now i hafta do another round of test to re-assure that its minor. When the nurse put down the phone, I asked myself. Then wat about the other test like my breast examination, blood test & pap smear? Called her again and she said everything is fine except urine test.

Kalau dah diberitahu yang kita dah ada infection sini, infection sana, otak dah pikiaq yang bukan2. Maklumler, i will sacrifice anything for my family and beloved ones. I jus could not imagine me suffering from something which can cost my life. Who will take care of them if i'm gone. Thanks for your email. Usually there are no blood cells in the urine as the kidney does not allow blood cells to pass into the urine and the blood has no contact with the urine in any way.
If however there is infection of the kidneys or the bladder or if there is inflammation due to the presence of stones, immune disorders, allergies or growths anywhere along the genito-urinary system, blood can get into the urine. White cells are most likely to be seen in the urine where infection is present as these are the cells, which combat microorganisms. For similar reasons we see white spots on the throat when we have a sore throat and white heads on our skin when we suffer from infected acne. The white areas are collections of white blood cells, which form pus.
It's always worth discussing urinary abnormalities with your doctor or nurse. If this is a consistent finding in your urine you probably need, in the first place, to exclude persistent infection. Sometimes this means providing further early morning urine samples and having swabs taken for microbiological analysis. If no obvious cause is forthcoming, your GP might refer you to a specialist for x-rays, scans and tests to check for kidney and bladder abnormalities.

ReplyDeleteAkak sebenarnya takut nak pi test ni sumer sebab scared to hear the result.... hihiihi tapi berani kan diri, pi test tiap2 tahun. Kalau nasib tak baik, terkena.... at least dah dapat early detection.. Kalau terlambat detect, adoiiii lagik payau tu!

pap smear sama gak rasanya cam doc selok2 masa nak check kau da brapa cm dilated time nak give birth.

ReplyDeletememang jadi pompuan susah.... when in my teens, aku rasa lump pat my left chest... punya takut, bilang my mum nangis2.. alhamdulillah after scan takde pape. then in early 20s aku pi jumpa doc cos every mth stomach cramp rabak giler!! sampai aku muntah2 and buang2.... pi scan and ada growth pat left uterus. doc ckp as long as tak membesar i need not remove. also kau tahu apa dia ckp ngan aku... maybe chances aku concieve very slim!! tu part aku dah stress babe... nangis... but alhamdulillah now ada danish.... so you don't worry about the infection, insya allah takde pape.

ReplyDeleteHope so.... I eva got urinal infection whereby i pee and its bloody, darah pekat nyer. Tak ker kanchionggggg. So apa lagik, quickly call my cousin who is a nurse to ask for advice. Lepas makan anti-biotic, dah ok....

ReplyDeleteMasa Sec 1 nyer check up ahhhhh i oso remember my left breast ada lumpy. Time tu berderau siak sebab takut kena breast cancer. Tak bilang saper2 pun sebab takut risaukan mak aku. Lepas bersalin and i breastfed, terus ilang.
Then lepas bersalin kan IZ, baru lepas hari i tink, aku ada growth in my left vaginal wall, sebesar biji durian siots!!!! Nak jalan, aiyohhhhhhhhhh sakit sebab it rubs agains my inner upper thigh. Kena admitted in KKH overnite (sakit cannot carry was in the middle of the nite) and Dr supposed to korek the thing the next morning but menda tu burst @ 4am so terbantut nak korek. Then it came back 2 months later tapi ni kali, wa jadik Dr sendrik. Wa pecahkan sendri babe! And till now, *jauhkan ler* the infection tarak come back again.
A'ah ler Shidot, betul kata Esah.... macam buat VE (vaginal examination) lah. Cuma tis time, dia masuk kan an instrument. Less than 10 seconds.... Pi ler try. Dah try skali, sure nak lagik!! Hahahha but dunno if you preggy can do pap smear or not cos it should be done after your mense.
