Goodbye 2012... Hello 2013!

Today is the last day of 2012, before we say a good HELLO to TwentyThirteen.

Well, 2012 has been a good year to me and my family, Thee Izzueamy as well as our business, Le Photographe.  Let's recap some of the things that happen along the way which is too sweet/sad to be forgotten...

From Allah we came from, to Him we return...

Early this year, we are sadden by a shocking news.  A good fren didnt make it during the tragic accident.  Allahyarham Bukhari Bin Safiee aka Bo, you are always in our prayers... A few months later, my sister's dad in law left us due to old age... followed by Azmi's aunt in JayBee... as well as our auntie sedara, Cik Ani who had fight breast cancer for years.  Life is indeed so fragile.  Today, we may see them in laughter.  When comes tomorrow, they are gone :(

Minah is forever a MINAH... 

Went to not one but TWO concerts!!! 1st was my idola, Ella... was a great show having to see her from far but not too far.  Another one was Search & Wings - Double Trouble, power eventhou Amy suara a little bit pancit but they are still my lagenda.

Tempat Senang
We have known Tempat Senang for quite sometime, i guess during Multiply days but only in 2012, we really look into it.  Since i was looking around to do some special birthday treat for dear husband, I went to recce their website and instantly made a booking with them.  I booked their luxurious suite called Sultan, prepared birthday cake and even flowers.  It was a heaven being there and i even blog down good words for them in TripAdvisor. A place which i called it Mini Bali...

S.A.T.U

In May 2012, i decided to go back to class.  Iqra....... to me, this is the biggest investment in my life!  Thou i have read Quran before but last time 'phonics' aint the same as now. I felt much more confident everytime i "date" with all the 'mats" during my Iqra class.  Mat Arid Li Sukun... Mat Wajib Mutasil Mat Munfasil dan mat mat yg swaktu dengannya. Haha!!! And alhamdulillah, in July 2012, I have decided to put on the HiJaB... It was a BIG decision.  Could remember clearly, on the nite of "Isra' Mi'raj", I was choosing photos.  Since i can't join the Majlis Bacaan Yassin at Woodlands Stadium, i decided to recite some zikir at home.  And while i was doing so, suddenly i cried.  Cried sooooo much, as heavy as the rain.  At the same time, I asked myself, "is it, it?".  The day after, i pulled a shawl and wear it. Before this, I am someone who is always with sleeveless be it to work or leisure but on Thurday, 5th July, everything changed. Those which i thot was impossible became possible. Afterwhich i could feel the difference, spiritually.  I am more a calm person, more forgiving, always appreciate more especially the LOVE from those around me. And Alhamdulillah, after the change, Allah brought me more to those who are heading towards that "ONE" direction. Thank you Allah. 

Son, our ASSET

Yes! My eldest son khatam his Al-Quran in May and we managed to do a ceremony only in December, due to ayah's tight schedule.  As a parent, I self declare, I am proud of him.  Ibu mana yang tak bangga kan?  Anak2 ni kan amanah dari Allah SWT.  Mereka diibaratkan sehelai kain putih. Sebagai ibu bapa, kita lah yang harus mencoraknya.  Kalau elok, batik lah coraknya. Kalau tak elok, comot lah kainnya.

Ohhh what a boring entry to end 2012 right? Hahahhahahaha 

People asked me, "so wats ur resolution" and i smiled cos i never had one...  To me, a new year is like a blank book. The pen is in your hands. It is your chance to write a beautiful story for yourself. I can never predict what's 2013 will bring us but one thing for sure, no matter how busy we may be, never forget those people around you especially your FAMILY.  MAKE time, BUY time and APPRECIATE them more cos life is so fragile.  Today you may see them, tomorrow will never know if they will come...
