KerJa ohhhh KerJa.......

I am proud to hear some students opted to work part-time during school holidays, to add more pocket $$$.  Some even do part-time during school days just to pay off their school books cos they studied in SMU... good job cos not all are SMART enuf to think and act like this. All they know is enjoy with easy money.  Wat i meant by easy money is, "Mak, nak kluar... mintak duit skit bleh?"  and their "SIKIT" is bukan sikit... cos we all know standard of living is high, meaning standard of spending is also high.

These golongan of youngster are those yang live in the group of, "Biar papa asal bergaya".  They are willing to spend big bucks for clothes, shoes, accessories but pocket kosong.  Kalau nak kerja part-time pun, they rather be choosy.  Nak kerja kat boutique kelas... cashier sumer ni tak pandang.  Bila ditanya kenapa, jawapan nyer, "Eiiiii nanti kawan nampak malu sei....."

Aduhmak!! Ko nak kira duit ke nak kira malu?  Masa time akak dolu-dolu, malu sumer tarak kira... janji duit masuk smooooooooth!  Ye lah, mak bapak kita dulu susah.  Dah kasik mak gaji, tak pernah berani nak mintak balik.  1st person kita carik nak kasik duit gaji is, our mum.  Sebab nak keberkatan dia.... tapi budak2 skarang sebalik nya... dapat gaji jer zoooooooommm contact member, "Yok gi shopping... tu ari aku nampak tu wallet lawa seiii" 

Teringat dulu, masa secondary 2... sanggup gi carik kerja as a florist!!! Sampai ke Balestier sebab apa?  Sebab nak carik extra $$$.  1st assignment was to do a condolences wreath.  I swear i know nuts about this but demi nak kerja punyer pasal, i tried and alhamdulillah.  I worked with them for 6 months. 

Secondary 3, during school holidays, i worked in Northpoint Guardian Pharmacy.  Gereks.... especially dapat mend the cashier.  Maklum ler, dulu kalau kita bayar, bunyi benda ala tu shiookkk, cos it has this "kecHingzzzzz" sound when you settle the bill.  Hihihihi tak lama kat sana, setakat 3 bulan...

Then time Secondary 4, lepas 'O' level tak salah... kerja kat Seagate as Production Operator siak.  U tink budak2 skarang nak kerja kat tempat gini.  Sumpah mati hidup smula i don think they want.  Hahhahahahaaa... bila kerja Seagate, sungguh seronokdotcom!!! Sebab apa, 1 nite is $80.00... gaji dua minggu skali.  So bila gaji jer dapat $800, followed by another $800.00 in the next 2 weeks.  Kaya siak.... time tahun 1993 tu, $1800.00 dah boleh jadik orang kaya siak. 

My cousin, pernah kerja part-time jadik flyers distributer.  Dia cakap, susah sebab orang tak nak amik.  Kesian sei.... so tu pasal kalau orang kasik2 flyers, amik ler sebab selagi flyers tak abis, dorang tak leh dapat gaji... and dorang tak boleh buang tu flyers.  Unless korang yang baca, korang yang buang sendri.... *wiNks*
