BaD BaD SerViCe...

Last 3 nites, my galfwen of mine posted a blog about bad SERVICE which she gotten from a "high end" boutique.  She expressed her disappointment being "look down" jus because she didnt dress like "ibu-ibu".  Hhhmmm.... 

Me too had the same experience but mine came from a "low end" retail.  To be precise, its a popular handphone shop in Chong Pang.

I was so much badly wanting to sell away my newly born SE Cybershot C905 and replacing it back wif my Nokia E71 (sudah salah langkah babe!).  So last Thursday, me and my sis went down to survey in Chong Pang hoping to get a good deal.  

As a customer, you have the RIGHT to survey from shop to shop kan? So i went around one shop after another and wifout me realising that they all got connections.  Everytime when i ask them, "You have a brand new Steel Black Nokia E71?", they will call their "boss" and ask.  Every shop i go, they do the same actions.  And plus minus, they quote a top up of $160 - $170 if i wanna deal. 

I actually don wanna go tis 1 particular shop which i did my recent transaction with cos she's being ridiculous to quote me so low price ($300) for my 4 days old C905.  So lastly, we decided to ask the shop jus right beside that "particular shop".  And the salebob did the same thing, call boss to ask for stock. 

And guess wat, a few seconds later, the "boss" came into the shop i was right in.  And she said in her LOUD voice.... "Woaaahhh!! Whole yishun already call me.  Asking if i have stock.  So you are the one.  No need to go around to ask, all same price. I told you to come down my shop." And guess wat, her voice was indeed LOUD which attracted people. 

Really a drop in my waterface!

I have actually reached my BOILING POINT but i told myself, "U must stay calm.  I replied back," I got right mah to go around and survey.  And your shop will be my last choice". 

And then member tak happy, kept saying out, "No need to go around, all same price".  Her tone of voice really made me pissed off.  But i tried to be cool.  Kalau tu setan dah cucuk, comporm kat situ jugak wa buat hal.  Dia nyer tone of volume was so loud, sampai dia nyer salesbob pun naik takut nak bilang me the buying price.  Tak macam siak?  I asked, "How much you wanna buy my phone?" Dia blur blur and kept communicating in Chinese wif his "boss". Mak dia nyer kepala pusat ahhh!!! Ni nak deal tak nak deal ni?

Bila dipikiak balik, tak guna lah nak gaduh ngan Nyonya sombong.  So in the end, my sis and I jus moved on.  Before i move, she ask out loud again, "Don wan ah?" I jus held out my arms and made a CROSS sign.  "No need lah... don wan already"

And in my heart, i SWEAR i will neither go back there, a popular shop in Chong Pang to deal wif trade in or buying nor recommend people to go there.  NO MORE! FULLSTOP!  You jus made ur loyal customer pissed off. 

Later then i got to know that she was the one who was featured in the recent Crime Watch cos kena robbed almost $10K kat situ jugak, Chong Pang area.  Kalau direnung balik, memang sajak.  Maybe orang pun dah eye lama cos of her "snobbishness and super loud mouth".

And guess wat? Yday i made a decision to trade in in Toa Payoh and since i was so tired, i jus clinge a deal at the very 1st shop i stopped.  Top up $158 for a new set of Steel Black E71.  Stock will be in only today so they loan me a handphone to survive for 1 day. 

Though i have lost almost $400 jus to trade in => buy => trade in again => buy again, but i am satisfied cos tis evening i will be back with E71 again!!

Indeed the biggest tersilap langkah.  Like i've said in my recent blog entry, 'dah tersalah langkah, kaki terseliuh"

 So Zue, lesson learnt?  I really hope so.  Kalau tak learnt jugak, tak tahu nak cakap apa.  Kalau tak serik kena pulau ngan Abg Le, ahh buat lagik ler kerja "giler" ni....

P/S: To be frank, I don mind paying extra as long as i'm happy and you give me good service.
