2009 MeaNs BacK to tHe 50's!

I'm looking forward to year 2009 cos i am slowly changing my home concept.  From cosy warm brown i'm changing it to

HOT yet DARING REWD & BLACK with a touches of white :)

Hubby knew that i wanna change the home color to something bright.  We saw a home in one of the fofular home decor magazine which was painted RED & WHITE. From there on, my eyes has been stuck with RED, RED, BLACK, BLACK....

Eeuuuuu..... feeling back to the 50's gitu kan!

Yesterday, for the 1st time in history we went to Geylang Berserai (Aqil's version), not during Ramadhan.  Main motive was to buy curtain and YES! We bought black & white curtains.  It was jus a 15 minutes choose, grab & go kinda shopping.  We got good deal for a good material for both our living & dining windows :)

Then managed to persuade hubby to lemme buy my faberite RED goblets, RED apron, RED gloves and not forgetting, BLACK lamp shades to replace our current white one, BLACK carpet, BLACK laundry basket, phhuuuhhh.....

You people must be thinking, Momma Zue is crazy.  Recession is cummin and yet she spent like nobody biz.  Issskkhhhhh tak moh ler pikiaq camtu skali.  Kita spend berpada-pada, menda yang kita beli tu pongs bukan nyer mahal sampai bleh koyakkkan poketz.  Tu ler resmi kita, tak semestinya mahal baru lawa, ada yang murah tampak bergaya :)

Rumah tu kan syurga sesebuah rumahtangga... rumah tu jugak pengerat kasih sayang sesebuah keluarga. 

Thats the reason y i'm very particular with my home decor so when i come back from work, bila nengok rumah tersergah indah kan lapang sikit otak yang stress tu .  Tak ke betol Nek Jah oiiii?

So the next task is PAINTING the whole house....tralallalalalalla

I jus cant wait for the new look :)

P/S: Slalu ingat cakap mak. "Kalau benda tu tak pecah atau tak gantian, nanti kedai apek tak laku pulak sebab takde orang nak beli barang dia"...... betoi jugak cakap mak aku tu.
