Everythyme when Fiza O is on air, i will always look forward to listen to her programme. Senang cakap, mak faberite fan of hers lah.
Last Tuesday, Fiza O cried when she interviewed this kakak who have 5 kids and hafta walk from home to send the kids to skool. And their walking distance is abt 30 mins. Reason being, the kids wanna go to school but they have no money to even take the bus to go to school. Duhh, kesiannya!! My IZ sat comfortably in an air-conditioned bus to/from skool everyday. At 1st that kakak was ok but when comes to a part where there was a silence, only kedengaran tangisan kecil, i tink ramai yang tersentuh sangat-sangat. I even cried on my desk.
Akak terfikir sejenak........ kita ingatkan kita susah, tapi ada lagi ramai orang susah kat luar sana. Anak-anak yang nak hidup dalam serba serbi kekurangan, nak sangat-sangat pegi skola. Ada anak2 yang sempurna kehidupan tapi malas nak belajar, ponteng skola....
Akak terfikir lagik.... bukan lah akak ni kaya raya tapi alhamdulillah, anak2 akak hidup dalam kesenangan. Ada anak2 orang yang hidup dalam kesempitan tak berganti beg skola tapi baru jer last Monday, akak bought for Aqil a Crumpler side bag for him to put his PSP since abang long already had one. Anyway, last Monday was Aqils 5th birthday (calendar Islam 15 Ramadhan which i will never forget)
Terus terang akak cakap, akak guilty sangat2 sebab to us $10 is nothing. But to the anak2 yang hidup dalam kesempitan, $10 meant very very much to them. Baru dengar tadik, budak2 tu dah lama tak makan gula-gula? Nak beli gula2 pun pikir 2 kali, whether duit cukup ke tidak. Jangan nak mimpi makan candies, nak makan Mac also i tink they will tink more than hundred times! Duuuhhhhh hati makin sayu bila dengar sebab my kids get to eat Push Pops, Happy Meal and all those expensive chocolates, almost every week.
So my dearest Multiplier darlings, wats ur feel now?
Should play a part? I strongly encourage we dial the numbers above and think about those poor kids who needs our attention? Shall we fwens?

ReplyDeletei was close to tears just now at work, so when aan came fetch me home to slp during lunch, i jumped into the car & quickly switch to ria..bdk tu baik2 was so semangat talking to me abt cars suddenly went all silent..then after we just look at each other speechless..kesian kan, to tink we can still be sighing & whining abt the rising cost of living..part paling sedih wen the kids told her "kwn2 lain g skola naik bas, bole"

My anak si afiq tu he... haiz kasut skola 1yr 7 kali aku beli! Reason being psl... recess time main bola so kasut asik rosak. ishk2~ Harap2 da besar tkde lar yr ader 7 galfren eh~ tk boleh tk boleh jadik nie... meantime kena lah punish anak tu buat ketuk ketampi..... I tink if i show him dis story he will realise how fortunate he is.
For us we pampered our kids.... for dem ur kekurangan nak belikan anak benda yg kecik pun susah... consider ourself fortunate... really kesian. Sebak dadah dengar cerita mcm gini.
