Evrytime wen comes to holiday, it will be me who will:
1) Check on accommodation & modes of transportation
2) Make bookings, be it online or direct
3) Plan itinerary (swear it may sound "weird" but i like to have an itinerary so that we're always on schedule ~ time waits for no man or is it woman??? hiak hiak hiak)
4) Organise the luggages (from baju kecik to baju besau)
Tis December, we plan to go for a short getaway ~ AGAIN. Yes!!! Jus the 2 of us. Cruel to leave the boys? Yes!! We admit it but those who knew us, have witnessed that we worked so hard (didnt we hubby?) and i tink a 3D/2N getaway to the Land of Smiles will make our live more cheery chirpy :) kerja keras pun tak bagus tau, nanti stress terus kena heart attack. Dah banyiak case orang2 muda banyak kena depression/heart attack sebab apa, sebab overwork. Hihhihihii
BUT........................................... i have a little prob here. Can u guys help me to tink?
We have 3 choixe:
To stay in Frasers' own property, Fraser Place Urbana Langsuan. It will be great to stay in your own sister's company cos it will be an experience and I have good staff rate but the problem is, hhhmmmmm.... i dunno if i will still be wif Fraser till end of the year :( Kalau dah tak kerja lagik ngan Fraser, rate dia....... makcowww!!!! Satu malam is 5000baht (about 210SG). Kalau staff rate, hhhmm tak leh bilang ler but indeed good rate....
To stay in Baansaladaeng, a boutique hotel which cost only 1900baht (abt 90SG).
When my buddy Norma showed me tis website, aaahhhh i drooled (asyik drool ajer ni minah). I am dying to stay in this hotel BUT, they have ONLY 9 rooms and every room has its own design. The prob is, i have checked that during my trip, not all apts are occupied. So akak ada skit seramzzz.... kalau unit kat atas and unit kat bawah not occupied during my trip, tapi malam2 ada "bunyik yang tak di undang", camner? Duuuuhh..........
Last..... to return back to Baiyoke Boutique Hotel which we stayed last year. Rate still good, 1800Baht (about 75SG). Reason being, kita dah familiar with the area and hotel ni ada 220 rooms. At least ada ramai orang. Tak macam hotel pat atas tu. Hihihih akak ni kan "pemalu".... "segan" kalau terserempak ngan "orang2 yang tak dikenali"....
So camner? Bleh tolong akak pikiaq?
Ahhhhh meh cakap pasal airfare plaks....
AIRFARE MAKIN PANAS!!!! MAKIN MAHAL!! I'm STILL waiting for any HOT DEALS PROMO but seems, there's NONE at the moment. Arrrggghh!!! Kenapa lah begini, kenapa Kassim..... kenapa!!!????
Duuuhhh kita rindddddduuuu sesangat nak naik Singapore Airline sebab uhuukk, uhhhukkk terkonang oden masa dolu2 pakai baju kebaya. But bila check price:
* SQ ~ $470 per pax. Mak cow!!!
* TG lagik................$511 terbegik akak!!!
* Jetstar Asia.......... jeng jeng jeng $592!!! Astagfirullah, tersungkur akak nyah!!!
So camner ni? Should i go thru agency? Or stick to my normal and usual practice, book direct???

yg 2nd hotel tu looked romantic gitu....dis time try nie pulak ah nyah. nowdays airfare are very competitive...be it budget or international. kalau part airfares tu susah sikit....maybe u choose the one with a comfortable timing to and fro

if you'd wanted to try for a change,try out Baansaladaeng. Otherwise, if familiarity is still the best word, then go back to Baiyoke Boutique Hotel....at least you are really familiar with the hotel and the vicinity....
secondly, why not you check with the agent on the package price; ie flight + accomodation. get them to give you a quote for your consideration....

ReplyDeletealamak lupa lah...dat time ngah ada Natas nya fair (1 1/2 yr ago)...Manage to stay 4D/3N kat Grand Diamond and fly on SQ for only $399...heheheh Yup betul...eh wanna recommend u ..do u know dat from pratunam, est ard 10 min walk kan ada mosque (they call it the malay village) huh ada jual nasi padang tau...fulamak..meleleh air liur bila type ni..power nama kedai dia Mak Yah Restaurant...fuh..power..and dat area semua jual makanan halal..infact kat pratunam pun banyak kedai arab....But heard Chatucak closed kan??

ReplyDeleteBeranak tu memang bleh, 10 pun aku rela. And memang gomen kasik $$$, tapi kalau ko plus minus times divide, tetap tak cukup. Kita yang dah ada anak ni tahu kita nyer monthly household allowance. Kekadang bila part tak cukup, makcowwwww!! Perit siak, and bila part tu, gomen tak tahu and tak nampak :)

ReplyDeleteus aussies have a saying...if it isn't broken, then why fix it? so in other words i think you should stick to your normal routine and book direct. it's still august and you want to go in december so plenty of time for specials to come up for airfares. regarding the accommodation....again same saying applies. if you liked it the first time, guaranteed you'd like it the second. and like you said you're familiar with it and its surroundings.

Bab hotel aku tak boleh nak tolong sebab kalau aku, semua-semua aku nak tinggal. Tapi kalau airline, aku nasihatkan naiklah SQ. So far, aku tengok, SQ jerlah yang murah. Jangan book last minute, especially december holidays. Book by mid september nyah. Sekarang hang pikiak dulu ok. C U on Monday!

Thru out our Free & Easy holiday, we never stay in ex hotel sebab to us, janji toilet orait, kita pun ok cos thats the most imp place..... bed is jus to sleep cos kita ni, celik mata jer, zoooooooommmm pi jalan2 kota and balik malaaaaaaaammmm jus to sleep :)
Tu ler, nanti mak dok check again norh..... email travel agency takde reply ni. Dorang tak pandai pakai email lah i tink.... LOL
